Treat Your Itchy and Irritated Eyes With These Easy Herbal Remedies

We are able to access the majestic wonders of the world with the help of our eyes, the greatness of nature, the magical beauty of the Mother Nature and what not. Our eyes make witnessing the world possible but what happens without them. It would be all dull, dark and void with our eyes. So, do our eyes not deserve some love and care? Offcourse they do!

The entire day our eyes are under so much pressure and strain, facing all the dust, wind, dirt and harmful particles present in the air so what should be done in case you ever get itchy and irritated eyes?
Here are a few herbal remedies for eyes allergy that will help treating your eyes in the simplest ways:

Rose Water
Put about 2-3 drops of rose water into your eyes for a few days when you are suffering from allergic conjunctivitis. You can use cotton ball that is dipped in rose water and then pour these drops into your eye balls. It will help combat the irritation. As the nature of the rose water is cool and soothing therefore it will not only help in throwing out the dust particles but will also soothe the eyes. Rose water also has various anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. In order to make this herbal remedy for eyes allergy work then make sure to use only 100% pure rose water, also make sure that it is herbal, pure and free from any kind of chemicals.

Aloe Vera Gel
With aloe vera you get the goodness of nature. If you are suffering from the problem of allergic conjunctivitis then you need this herbal remedy for eyes allergy. How does this help? It helps in reducing the inflammation and also helps in speeding up the process of healing. The problem raised due to dust articles will be solved with the help of aloe vera. All you have to do is apply the gel of aloe vera to the area around the eyes and you will see the circle around the eyes fade away slowly.

Chamomile Tea
The tea bags of green tea can be used to cold compress the eyes or also as an eyewash.
Those swollen and itchy eyes use the need the extra care, love, attention. You can use the already used tea bags of chamomile, put them in the refrigerator and upon cooling place them over your eyelids and allow the cold feeling to seep in and then leave it untouched for 5 minutes. It will give you a relaxing feeling and you will feel refreshed and rejuvenated unlike ever before. You can try this remedy 2 to 3 times daily. Thanks to the anti-microbial properties that it has because of which it makes for a great and effective home remedy.

Potato Magic
Grate a potato and place it over the eye, it will work as an astringent and that will help in reducing the inflammation of the eye. You can put this slice over the eye and also it to rest for next 15 minutes.

 

Apple Cider Vinegar
To a cup of water (boiled) add about 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Mix the solution properly and to the solution dip one cotton ball and wash your eyes with it. There is an ingredient present in the apple cider vinegar that helps fight against the bacterial infections.

• Unclear, less or blurry vision
• Pain in the eyes
• Itching in the eyes
• Redness
• You feel as if something is stuck inside your eyes
• Sensitive eyes
• Burning sensation in the eyes
• Watery or itchy eyes
